Documentary Brand Design
In the Shadows of Service is a documentary highlighting what it is like to be a modern military spouse. This project is very personal to me and I was happy to join the team and support in any way I could. Some of the main goals of this project were:
marry the style of the documentary with any external promotional materials for the film
start building brand awareness around the documentary to help gain supporters
create visibility for the Kickstarter campaign

Building a Visual Story
Working with a team of rockstar military spouse professionals, we strived to gain funding for production through a Kickstarter campaign. I helped by building the the overall brand identity and direction for all documentary marketing visuals.
Although the Kickstarter did not reach it’s goal, the documentary gained sponsorship from a nationwide nonprofit to help seek grant funding. The goal is still to launch the film in early 2026.
